{"id":1220,"date":"2015-04-09T15:16:22","date_gmt":"2015-04-09T19:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/all4schools.org\/?p=1220"},"modified":"2015-04-14T17:19:23","modified_gmt":"2015-04-14T21:19:23","slug":"testing-bill-headed-to-governors-desk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/all4schools.org\/2015\/04\/09\/testing-bill-headed-to-governors-desk\/","title":{"rendered":"Testing bill headed to governor&#8217;s desk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>UPDATE: Governor Scott signed the testing bill into law Tuesday saying, &#8220;I agree with many teachers and parents who say we have too many tests, and while this legislation is a great step forward, we will keep working to make sure Florida students are not over tested.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In an unscheduled move that surprised many, the House took up and passed the sweeping testing bill- HB 7069- on Thursday. The bill is now headed for Governor Scott&#8217;s desk.
